How to Charge Your Phone Faster

Does your phone charge slowly? Or, do you need to charge it faster for any urgent case? Then you can practice the techniques that we are going to discuss in this post. Let's grab it!

Enable Fast Charging Option (If Supported)

If your device supports fast charging, there might be an option to control fast charging. To enable it, Go to Settings and tap the Battery section. Press Charging option (if there any) and switch fast charging on if not enabled.

Turn On Airplane Mode While Charging

One of the most effective ways to charge your phone faster is to switch your phone to airplane mode. Airplane mode turns off calling, texting, mobile data, Wi-fi and Bluetooth. It completely disconnects your phone from any network. Thus your phone charges quickly. But you can enable Wi-fi and Bluetooth again after switching to airplane mode. Doing so can affect charging faster. So, it is recommended that you don't turn Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on after switching to airplane mode while charging. Also, turn off your phone's location if enabled.

Limit Background Process

Limiting your phone's background process can speed up charging. For doing so, developer options should be enabled on your phone. If it's not enabled, go to Settings>About Phone (for some devices, Settings>About Phone>Software information). Scroll down to Build number and press it seven times quickly. Then return to the first screen of Settings. You will now see the Developer options section. Enter the section and you will get a lot of options there. Scroll down to Background process limit. Tap it and select No background process. You can still keep it enabled forever. It will prevent draining your battery quickly.

Power off Your Phone (If Possible)

If possible, power off your phone and connect the charger. It is the most effective way to charge your phone faster. And if you do it, you don't need to do any of the previous steps. Shutting your phone down prevents all the tasks and processes. That's why your phone charges faster. When it reaches 100%, disconnect your charger and power on your phone.
